Environment Volunteers Wanted
RCABC is searching for volunteers interested in protecting our local watersheds. Tasks could include event organization, information distribution, web site work, education, river cleanup, or any other related activity. Emphasis would be on what you are most interested in. Here are a few ideas: -Collecting links to be displayed on the RCABC website. -Organizing clean up events such as BC Rivers Day. -Educating canoeists about Leave No Trace practices. -Distributing information about provincial news and events. -Becoming involved in issues that affect your local watershed. -Searching and Applying for grant money. -Joining or starting local outdoor recreation committees. -Becoming involved in the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC
