RCABC Canoe Clubs

The RCABC coordinates and promotes a network of canoe clubs throughout BC. We help clubs by providing affordable liability insurance and waiver guidelines as well as setting standards for training and risk management.

Why Join a Canoe Club?

Canoe clubs are an excellent place to find like minded paddlers and learn how to canoe. Many clubs offer affordable introductory lessons* and organize club trips where you can learn about paddling techniques and how to adventure in nature safely while canoeing.

Clubs are also great social settings where you can make new friends and find companions for your own personal trips.

Want to start your own club?

We can help with that! Contact our executive at president@bccanoe.com to get started. Club signup is completed online, but it is usually best to consult with us first.

We welcome paddlers of all kinds in our clubs (yes, even kayakers). However, our member clubs are generally expected to be primarily canoe-oriented, as this aligns best with our standards and expertise.
